Ethics and Servant Leadership Program

The premier experiential learning program at Emory University’s Center for Ethics is the D. Abbott Turner Program in Ethics and Servant Leadership (EASL). The program is designed to enrich the student's life and integrate the practical, intellectual, and spiritual components of their work while deepening their understanding of ethical responsibility and service in the workplace.

Gifts to the Ethics and Servant Leadership program allow us to provide a stipend to the summer interns. This funding ensures that financial need is not a barrier to participation so that the students best suited for each position can access the life-changing experience.

Gifts to this fund support 15 interns each summer. As Fikrejesus Amahazion writes: "Personally, my own time within the [EASL] program, reflective of that of many other participants, remains one of the most important and rewarding experiences in my life. It helped shape my passion for human rights advocacy, community building, and development, and I continue to use many of the skills I developed during that period."
