Masters of Arts in Bioethics

The Master of Arts in Bioethics program provides rigorous, advanced, interdisciplinary study in bioethics for professionals and students interested in the social and ethical challenges facing medicine and the life sciences. Given Emory's status as a leading research and teaching university, graduates of Emory’s Masters in Bioethics program will be trained to help to advance the national conversation on important issues influencing public policy, scholarship, practice, and education in the field.

Your support will fund scholarships, allow conference attendance for students and keep our graduates leading the way!

A student who was sponsored to go to the ASBH conference, Samantha Chipman, met two doctors from the Mayo Clinic while there and subsequently received a summer bioethics internship at the Mayo Clinic and had a paper accepted for presentation at the ASBH conference! Samantha is now is now a PhD student in English pursuing a certificate in bioethics at Emory University as well as a candidate for ASBH Student Director-at-Large.
