La Mesa Academy

La Mesa offers a welcoming and open environment for students from diverse cultures, ethnicities, and ecclesial traditions. With courses in Spanish, English, and Korean, La Mesa will serve students preparing to be lay pastors in mainline denominations or ordained ministers in traditions that typically educate their clergy through certificate programs. It is also designed for leaders who are serving in non-traditional ministerial settings, including the non-profit sector as well as those leaders involved in community development.

Your gift will provide scholarships for students to complete La Mesa’s innovative and culturally diverse path to church and community leadership.

"I chose La Mesa for its commitment to providing a supportive learning environment. The staff’s unique blend of passion, compassion, and instructional depth distinguishes it from any other academic experience I’ve ever had. Their dedication and the uniqueness of the program’s offerings immediately drew me in. The curriculum’s engaging content promises enhancement in my theological education, while the staffs’ enthusiasm and intentionality are really inspiring. La Mesa is the ideal place for both personal and professional growth. Ultimately, I believe this school will equip me with the skills and connections needed to return to my community as an effective and enthusiastic leader." - Ketechia Sales
