Inter-Religious Council

The Inter-Religious Council has for over 30 years been a gathering of representatives of all of the chartered spiritual communities on campus, plus several at-large student members. Its mission is to build and sustain a healthy, religiously pluralistic campus climate by: networking our religious and philosophical student organizations; encouraging growth as a community in religious literacy and interfaith leadership, dialogue, and action skills; and serving the larger campus and community through initiatives and programs. This group meets weekly over dinner for dialogue and planning retreats, trips, and campus events.

Sustain the continued gathering of the group and support the interfaith initiatives and programs these student leaders produce for the wider Emory community. Funds go towards community meals, retreats, interfaith travel, and events for the wider campus community.

For decades, IRC has brought together diverse students into communities of dialogue that result in lifelong friendships and build interfaith leaders whose impact ripples outward around the world.
