American Medical Student Association

We are Emory’s American Medical Student Association (AMSA) chapter. Our mission and the function of our organization both follow from the national organization's values and aspirations. We envision a future of medicine that is inclusive, diverse, and deeply intertwined with the communities health care serves. AMSA is committed to nurturing leaders with cultural humility and empowering a wealth of diverse future physicians and healthcare providers who will advance health equity through education and community service experiences.

AMSA is fundraising because we are devoted to eliminating financial barriers to membership in our organization. With these funds, we will provide aid for and cover national membership costs for students with demonstrated financial needs. This opportunity will undoubtedly improve their access to premedical opportunities and a community of passionate future healthcare professionals.
