First-Generation Low Income Partnership

The purpose of this organization is to foster community within the first-generation low income community at Emory, while also building and institutionalizing resources within the University to help FLI students.

We are fundraising for our laptop lending program. Students on Emory's campus tend to face challenges accessing reliable technology, which is crucial for their academic success. Many students struggle to afford personal laptops or experience technical issues with their devices, leaving them without the necessary tools for research, assignments, and virtual learning. Our laptop lending program aims to bridge this gap by providing students with access to high-quality laptops on a short-term or long-term basis, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder their education. Your support will directly impact students' ability to succeed in their studies and stay connected in an increasingly digital academic environment.
