Emory NAACP

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is an African-American Civil Rights organization founded in 1909. The mission of the NAACP is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination. The Emory University chapter of the NAACP strives to remove all barriers of racial discrimination, to inform the public of the adverse effects of racial discrimination, and to educate persons as to their constitutional rights. An organization for true freedom fighters that seek social justice and the advancement of minority communities.

We are fundraising for Emory NAACP to promote Black success on campus. Our goal is to raise funds to support initiatives that empower Black students and create opportunities for leadership, academic excellence, and community engagement. These initiatives will not only benefit the Emory campus but also extend into the greater Atlanta community. With your help, we can organize events, workshops, and mentorship programs that foster personal and professional growth, celebrate Black culture, and address issues of social justice. Your support will help us create lasting change and ensure that Black students thrive both on and off campus.
