Emory Pre-Dental Society (a.k.a. Emory American Student Dental Association, EASDA) is a pre-dental organization designed to help pre-dental students achieve their goal of pursuing a career in dentistry. EASDA members are dedicated and passionate in helping others accomplish their preparations for dental school. EASDA provides helpful resources to all members, such as where to shadow, volunteer, and insightful info directly from administrative directors from dental schools around the country.
The pre-dentistry club provides valuable opportunities for students interested in pursuing careers in dentistry, and all of our events are free and open to everyone. We are currently completely self-funded, and relying solely on personal investment limits what can be provided to our pre-dental students. Your contribution will enable us to expand our community outreach and and better serve our members. For example, we lead a service project called Project All Smiles where we visit Atlanta elementary schools and teach the students about brushing and flossing their teeth. We would love to provide the students with a small goodie bag with a toothbrush and dental resources in order to encourage them to establish healthy habits. Additionally, we would like to provide more hands-on opportunities for our members to practice dexterity. These activities, such as sculpting teeth using modeling clay, will allow members to gain practical experience and skills needed for their future careers in dentistry. With your contribution, we will be able to focus on what we do best, creating unique and amazing opportunities for the Emory Pre-dental community and beyond.
