Michael C. Carlos Museum

The Carlos Museum is a center for student flourishing on campus. The museum offers a wide range of academic, informal learning, and social experiences, from programs for undergraduates to graduate students and medical school students. Emory students collaborate with curators, conservators, and educators to create exhibitions, investigate objects, and explore ideas through great works of art.

For 2036 Giving Week the Carlos Museum is highlighting its commitment to create more opportunities for students to gain career changing experiences early in their studies through internships and work-study programs. This past summer, Emory student interns collaborated with curators, educators, and art preparators to create meaningful moments in the exhibition You Belong Here: Place, People, and Purpose in Latinx Photography. Interns created bilingual Spanish and English exhibition labels and community centered interactives about the fundamental notion of how, when, and where people belong.
