New York Alumni Network

New York Network Mission: Inspire and steward meaningful, lasting relationships that elevate engagement and giving to fulfill Emory’s mission to serve humanity.

The New York Network, representing over 11,000 alumni, chose to support five funds focused on student flourishing. We hope that at least one of these funds speaks to you or your Emory experience. Thank you in advance for supporting student flourishing at Emory.

For 2O36 Giving Week, we are highlighting these funds:

  • Your gift to the Wonderful Wednesdays fund will enhance Wonderful Wednesdays at Emory by providing entertainment, food, and swag with the goal of expanding the reach of student organizations and building community.
  • The Pathways Center Fund makes it possible for students to prepare for professional paths that integrate what they learn in the classroom with hands-on, high-impact experiences like internships, undergraduate research, and intentional advising and career services.
  • Emory University Student Hardship Fund provides life-changing financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate students in need due to a crisis or catastrophic event. The fund is administered by the Office of Financial Aid in collaboration with student leaders.
  • Gifts to the Student Flourishing Fund support the four dimensions of the student journey: academic experience, professional pathways, purpose and meaning, and community and well-being. Directed by Provost Ravi Bellamkonda, funding for student flourishing reaches across campus from foundational support of our undergraduate schools to experiential learning and career discernment via the new Pathways Center, and touches campus life’s renewed commitment to student wellness and a culture of community and belonging buttressed by reflection and ethics through the Emory Purpose Project.
