The Economics Department is a thriving academic department that consists of nearly 40 tenured and tenure-track faculty in a wide range of fields with focuses on Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Health Economics, and Econometrics. We have about 600 undergraduate students and 40 graduate students in our academic programs. We are committed to providing a supportive and intellectually rigorous academic community for our students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
We are fundraising for causes that will enhance the Economics student experience at Emory, including: inviting high-profile scholars(including Nobel laureates) to campus to engage with students and the community; funding economics student organizations and clubs; and supporting students with attending conferences to present their research.
