Jain Life at Emory supports Jain students, faculty, staff and alumni in their spiritual and religious flourishing. While supporting individuals across campus, we also work closely with our Jain Students Association in celebrating Jain festivals, hosting discussions, and facilitating worship for the Emory community.
This semester, we opened the Emory Interfaith Center, and we are in the final stages of arranging for our Jain community to have a designated altar and religious goods in the center. It will be custom made to reflect the beauty and imagery of the tradition, while also having the capability of being mobile so it can be accessed for gatherings in different parts of the Interfaith Center. We continue to raise funds to support the upkeep and programming of the new shrine and Jain life at Emory.
