Emory Muslim Students Association

The Emory Muslim Students Association is a religious, educational, social, and cultural organization. The goals of MSA are to educate both Muslims and non-Muslims about Islam and the religious, social, academic, and cultural aspects of Islam. In addition, the Muslim Students Association aims to create an environment in which Muslim students, faculty, and staff are able to practice Islam comfortably and gain a sense of community on campus.

We are fundraising for our Ramdan iftars and Eid celebration. Ramadan is when Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset for a month and the breaking of that fast is known as iftar. MSA hosts iftars every weeknight where we provide halal food for over 150 undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, alumni, and other guests. We also will have a campus-wide Eid celebration at the end of Ramadan.
