We are Emory Filipino Student Association! Our organization provides a welcoming space for members to engage in community-building and cultural awareness activities, share their unique experiences as college-aged Fil-Am students in the South, and learn about the diverse skills and interests of other FSAs in the area. While Emory Filipino Student Association is a cultural and identity-based organization, we are unique in our emphasis on education and advocacy for issues impacting the wider Filipino and Filipino-American community. Join us as we critically engage with the state of Filipino Americans in the South, the wider US, and transnationally, in order to effect positive change in our community and beyond.
Donations play a pivotal role in enabling the Emory Filipino Student Association to flourish in their annual leadership summit and promote cultural awareness and education. These contributions provide essential financial support, allowing the association to organize events, workshops, and seminars that foster leadership development within the Filipino student community. Moreover, donations facilitate the inclusion of cultural enrichment activities, such as traditional dance workshops, language lessons, and culinary experiences, which help to strengthen cultural bonds and deepen understanding among Emory.
