For this year’s Emory Day of Giving, we are highlighting the following Rollins School of Public Health funds that each provide a way to support our students and the dynamic initiatives taking place at our school. A gift of any amount represents a transformative opportunity to make an impact and build your Rollins legacy!
Rollins School of Public Health Fund for Excellence
Gifts to the Fund for Excellence allow us to provide support to the Dean's priorities, as well as any critical needs.
Rollins Cares
Rollins Cares is a new fundraising initiative to provide direct financial assistance to Rollins School of Public Health students experiencing an unexpected hardship, ensuring they are able to focus on their education and remain on track to graduate.
Building on the school’s existing hardship fund, Rollins Cares assists students with unforeseen costs that may arise outside of the standard costs of education. Examples include travel costs associated with a personal or family emergency, medical expenses, support for temporary housing, and other essential needs due to an unexpected life event.
Rollins Earn and Learn (REAL)
Rollins Earn and Learn (REAL) is a signature program funded by Rollins that offers full-time MPH/MSPH students valuable opportunities to earn while they learn through applied public health experiences in real-world settings. Beyond direct work experience, it is an opportunity for students to be mentored by public health professionals.
Food Fortification Initiative
The Food Fortification Initiative (FFI) champions effective grain fortification so people have the nutrition they need to be smarter, stronger, and healthier. A third of the world's population is affected by micronutrient malnutrition, which can cause devastating birth defects, impaired brain development in young children, and reduced work capacity among adults. That's why we help countries around the world build self-sustaining programs to fortify staple foods like wheat flour, maize flour, and rice with small amounts of life-saving vitamins and minerals.
