JScreen is a national, non-profit public health initiative based out of Emory University School of Medicine’s Department of Human Genetics. JScreen’s goal is to prevent genetic diseases by improving access to genetic testing through an online, at-home education and genetic screening program. JScreen makes comprehensive genetic screening simple, accessible, and affordable.
Help Us Save Lives! Through JScreen’s reproductive genetic test, couples are able to learn information about their risk of unknowingly passing on a devastating genetic disease to their future children. The test looks for Tay-Sachs, cystic fibrosis, and over 200 other diseases.
JScreen’s cancer genetic test provides life-saving information for early detection and prevention of many common cancers, such as breast, ovarian, prostate, pancreatic, and colon, through testing for BRCA and over 70 other cancer genes.
