We are Atlanta Pediatric Cancer Outreach, a student-run organization at Emory that focuses on supporting children with cancer and pediatric cancer research in the Atlanta area. We create holiday gift bags for cancer patients, do arts and crafts activities with patients at Children's Hospital of Atlanta, and cook brunches and meals for families staying at Ronald McDonald House. We also volunteer at events such as Camp Sunshine, Spring Fling, and our very own Emory Haircuts for Hope where we hold a free haircut event on campus where students can donate their hair to make wigs for children with cancer.
We are fundraising to help fund our initiatives to support children with cancer and alleviate their experience through treatment. We are fundraising to buy holiday gift items for the children, arts and crafts supplies for the kids events, holiday gift items, and ingredients for cooking meals for families affected with cancer.
