Emory Robotics seeks to create an innovative gateway for students by providing technical and non-technical resources for students to pursue robotics and other fields, all while creating a community for engineers and entrepreneurs alike. Emory Robotics is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all individuals to get involved with STEM, Robotics, and FIRST/Vex Robotics. To do this, Emory Robotics will exemplify three core goals: first, provide the learning resources for Emory students and the greater Atlanta community alike to create and pursue robotics projects through workshops and course topics; second, through encouraging personal and local robotics projects supported and funded by the club; third, provide students with volunteer and career experience opportunities through the Georgia FIRST Collegiate Alumni and Advocacy Alliance. Emory Robotics hopes that through these efforts, students will be able to explore their creativity and passions in a new light.
Emory Robotics Club is a new club at Emory that is participating in VEX U this year, a collegiate robotics competition. We are currently fundraising for robot parts, competition funds, and travel.
