The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is an African-American Civil Rights organization founded in 1909. The mission of the NAACP is to ensure the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based discrimination. The Emory University chapter of the NAACP strives to remove all barriers of racial discrimination, to inform the public of the adverse effects of racial discrimination, and to educate persons as to their constitutional rights. An organization for true freedom fighters who seek social justice and the advancement of minority communities.
We are raising money to support our monthly events as well as our ability to continue to collaborate with other minority organizations on Emory's campus.
