Association of Caribbean Educators & Students

Emory University's Association of Caribbean Educators and Students (ACES) seeks to spread awareness about and directly provide the Caribbean experience to the Emory and Atlanta communities. Through our three pillars - identity, community and celebration - members can expect to engage in a range of programming that includes panels, game nights and festivities!

Each spring, ACES hosts Caribbean Awareness Week, dedicated to engulfing Emory members in Caribbean culture. This fun-filled journey ends with our annual signature showcase, Island Delight, where attendees can enjoy an array of breathtaking performances and cuisine.

Under the ACES umbrella is our very own dance troupe, Vibez, known for their high energy and ability to immerse audiences throughout Atlanta into Caribbean dance life.

Any and all financial contributions are greatly appreciated, as they will be pivotal for ACES to continue its mission of promoting and providing the Caribbean experience for both the Emory and greater Atlanta communities. More specifically, the funds would help our organization finalize this academic year and start the new academic year strongly!

Wise Heart Gift Leaderboard

The wise heart seeks knowledge, and generous leadership donors support the programs closest to their hearts. The 4 groups with the most $1,000+ donations by 6:00pm EDT on March 28 will share $5,000 in bonus awards. Award dollars will go to the fund designation that receives the most $1,000+ gifts in each of the 4 winning groups.

Emory’s alumni boards, regional networks, and affinity groups are challenging each other to a friendly Emory Day of Giving competition: the 10 groups chosen most often by Emory alumni when making their gifts will share $5,000 in bonus awards! The top two large networks (denoted by *), top 2 international networks (denoted by ^), top 3 other networks, and top 2 boards (denoted by +) will receive awards. Award dollars will go to the fund designation with the most qualifying gifts in each of the winning areas.
