Emory Agnition is excited to return the Atlanta campus this year as Emory's All-Inclusive Bollywood fusion dance team! The team of about 30 members creates sets of varying indian dance styles to perform around Emory and in collegiate Bollywood dance competitions. We value bringing light and excitement to these dance styles in creative ways in order to share our passion and culture!
To carry out our mission, we need funds for registration fees for competitions and campus events, materials such as costumes and props, and travel expenses. Fusion dance performances are often more of a production than a just a dance. We aim to choreograph and perform fusion dance pieces at campus events and inter-collegiate level competitions in a way that encapsulates the excitement of Bollywood and our culture. Attending inter-collegiate competitions often span over the course of a few days at out-of-state universities are a great way for us to represent Emory Agnition and support team bonding.
