Dooley represents a quirky tradition on Emory's campus. Taking on the first name and middle initial of the current university president, the biology lab skeleton safeguards the official Spirit of Emory. Supporting Emory students with gifts to endowed scholarships is another growing tradition at Emory College. Beginning at 12:01 a.m. ET on Thursday, February 9, the first $5,000 to the Dooley Scholarship Endowment will unlock an additional $7,500.
