Center for Ethics

The Center for Ethics is one of the largest, most comprehensive ethics centers in the USA. With core strengths in healthcare ethics education, theories of human flourishing, ethics and the arts, and conceptions of leadership. The Center touches more community organizations for its size than any other unit at Emory. We are committed to providing outstanding ethics programming across Emory University, the Atlanta community, nationally and internationally. Ethics Matters!

Ethics and the Arts: The Ethics & the Arts program encourages ethical discourse and debate through and about the arts, and it partners with signature arts organizations to demonstrate the way art challenges our perspectives. Your support will fund our monthly Ethics at the Movies programming and Ethics on the Stage talk backs, along with support for student enrichment activities.

Master of Arts in Bioethics (MAB) Program: The Master of Arts in Bioethics program provides rigorous, advanced, interdisciplinary study in bioethics for professionals and students interested in the social and ethical challenges facing medicine and the life sciences. Your support will fund scholarships, allow conference attendance for students and keep our graduates leading the way!

Friends of the Center for Ethics: This is our unrestricted fund to support the Center. The flexibility these dollars represent allows us to fund the most immediate needs of the Center including faculty and student research, projects and programs not covered in any other specific fund.

Ethics and Servant Leadership (EASL) Experiential Learning Program: The EASL program is designed to enrich the student's life and integrate the practical, intellectual, and spiritual components of their work while deepening their understanding of ethical responsibility and service in the workplace. Gifts to the EASL program allow us to provide a stipend to the summer interns and funds an end of year retreat for the students.
