Shaping leaders in service to the global good, the James T. Laney School of Graduate Studies prepares graduate students for success through scholarship, research, teaching, and programming. Alex Soltoff 28PhD, a doctoral candidate in the Health Services Research and Health Policy program (Organization and Management track), has been published in The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), a significant milestone as JAMA is one of the most prestigious medical journals, known for publishing high-impact, peer-reviewed research. Soltoff’s article, titled “Caregiver-Reported Quality in Hospices Owned by Private Equity Firms and Publicly Traded Companies,” explores vital questions about the quality of care in hospice settings. His work contributes to ongoing efforts to improve the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being of individuals and families during end-of-life care and reflects the caliber of scholarship produced by Laney Graduate School students.
Through your generous support, Laney Graduate School is positioned to ready students for a variety of careers in a competitive job market and ever-changing national landscape; allowing them to identify new ways to utilize their degrees and translate their skills into professional success. This work would not be possible without you!
As a community, we have a duty to prepare students for careers with the potential to change hearts, minds, and the world. We invite you to invest in Laney to prepare tomorrow’s leaders and shape the future of our school.
