Founded in 2015, Emory Suri is the premier South Asian A Cappella team at Emory University. The translation of Suri, "melodious," carries the very spirit of this organization's purpose and roots. Emory Suri serves as a platform for fusing our identities together to serve a common passion for spreading the joy and vibrancy of South Asian culture through music. We appreciate the help of anybody who would be willing to support our group and the South Asian Arts.
We are competing again in the Association of South Asian A Cappella's circuit. We are once again asking for your support in raising money for flight tickets, hotel bookings, and sound equipment. We would be extremely grateful for any form of donation, and we thank you for your continued support of our goals! If we are fortunate to exceed our fundraising goal, we will use the additional funds for other group and competition-related expenses such as sound and lighting equipment, competition outfits, and to continue recording singles for major music distribution platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
