Ben Pius Mock Trial is Emory’s completely student-run trial advocacy team. Every year, students receive a case file and build a case to compete against schools around the nation. Students fill both attorney and witness roles, practicing public speaking, debate, and improvisation in a collaborative team environment. Currently ranked 11th in the nation, Ben Pius Mock Trial has qualified for the National Championships for eight consecutive years and collected over 250 individual awards.
Managing the tournament schedules of three teams results in a lot of costs. Throughout the season, we have to pay for airfare, lodging, gas, poster boards, and paper supplies. Multiply this by 20 for the 20 tournaments we attend in an academic year and the dollars start to add up! We continue to rely on donations like yours! Gifts of any and all amounts help us keep student dues low and keep Emory Mock Trial accessible to all students regardless of financial background. We cannot thank you enough for your generosity and support.
