Emory Emotion is the official dance team of the Emory Eagles! Primarily a jazz dance based team, Emory Emotion serves to promote and uphold school spirit, to perform at home sporting events (including soccer and basketball) and other selected events on campus to which the dance team is invited (Best in Show, SPC Homecoming events, Homecoming Parade, Emory Student Dance Network shows, etc.), to increase awareness and participation in Emory’s sporting and campus events and to learn and develop qualities necessary for working as a member of a team, such as tact, understanding, mutual respect for others, responsibility, and tolerance. As members of Emory Emotion, we value dedication, passion, cultivating lasting friendships, and providing opportunities for leadership and choreography!
Donations go toward scholarships for our dancers, purchasing uniforms, costumes, club merchandise, and dancewear, and funding our team bonding events.
