The Emory Equestrian team is a student-run Club Sports team that competes in Zone 5, Region 2 of the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA), which includes colleges and universities in Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi. The IHSA was founded on the principle that any college student should be able to participate in horse shows regardless of his or her financial status or riding level. The Emory Equestrian Team works to promote this mission by fostering a fun and supportive environment for riders of all skill levels who are interested in competing at the collegiate level. The team currently rides out of Windsor Stables. Team members practice at least once a week and travel to shows throughout the Southeast in the fall and spring semesters.
Additional funds donated to the Emory Equestrian Team will directly support the team’s growth and success. Contributions will help provide scholarships to deserving riders, ensuring greater access to the sport for talented students. Additionally, donations will assist with the team’s day-to-day operations and cover essential expenses for competition travel. Your generosity empowers our riders to excel both in the arena and in their academic pursuits, while fostering a thriving equestrian community at Emory.
