The Emory Pre-PA Society supports aspiring physician assistants and curious undergraduate students through mentorship program, educational workshops, and networking engagement with PAs, PA students, and PA professors. We hope to consolidate information and resources related to the application process, requirements for admission, patient care experience opportunities, and an overall idea of the physician assistant profession to educate and prepare the community at Emory.
Our signature events include a PA Dinner, Emory PA School Tour, and CASPA Workshop. Past events range from simulation lab to suturing clinic.
Some of the events we are fundraising for include supporting our semesterly PA dinners so that our students and PAs can focus on having more productive/meaningful conversations. We are also hoping to host giveaways for certain pieces of medical equipment (stethoscopes, PA application textbooks, pen lights, etc.) so that students can have access to basic tools needed for their future careers.
