Emory Christian Fellowship is a multi-ethnic, interdenominational Christian community on campus where students can connect across society's barriers: racial/ethnic, socioeconomic, class year, and church background, among others. We are open to ALL students, so whether or not you have any previous experience with Christianity, we invite you to join us as we learn about Jesus together, host Small Group Bible studies, meet up for Large Group worship gatherings, hang out just for fun, and much more!
We are fundraising for our first ever intercampus Worship night! Our main goal is to strengthen the connection between Oxford campus and Emory's campus by making sure Oxford graduates know they have an Emory family here on the main campus. By making ourselves familiar and working together as a collective team, we pray that this fosters friendship, family and community in Christ.
The vision for this worship night is "Jesus Bridging the Gap", going along the lines of how Jesus is our mediator and our bridge to God. Leading him to the cross in exchange for our salvation and the gift of eternal life. We also believe it goes hand in hand with many of our experiences of shifting to a new environment in college, or even the move from Oxford to Emory, and etc.!
The funds we collect will go towards celebrating this connection between Oxford and Emory! It will go into funding transportation back and forth from Oxford and Emory, investing in electrical appliances for worship night, creating flyers, funding for dinner, and creating merchandise and purchasing keepsakes for all those who will join us for this memorable night!
We hope that this first ever event does not stop here, but it is an annual event that draws campuses and students closer together for a very long time!
