The premier experiential learning program at Emory University’s Center for Ethics is the D. Abbott Turner Program in Ethics and Servant Leadership (EASL). The program is designed to enrich the student's life and integrate the practical, intellectual, and spiritual components of their work while deepening their understanding of ethical responsibility and service in the workplace.
The Impact of Your Gift
Gifts to the Ethics and Servant Leadership program allow us to provide a stipend to the summer interns. This funding ensures that financial need is not a barrier to participation so that the students best suited for each position can access the life-changing experience.
Gifts to this fund support 15 interns each summer. Jessie Zhao, a 2022 summer intern at Wholesome Wave of Georgia says “I have definitely learned a lot about how government benefits and grants are managed, both by organizations and individuals applying for them or looking to have their benefits renewed. That’s been eye-opening, and I can see these lessons helping me in my education and career.”
