The Carlos Museum is a center for student flourishing on campus. The museum offers a wide range of academic, informal learning, and social experiences, from programs for undergraduates to graduate students and medical school students. Emory students collaborate with curators, conservators, and educators to create exhibitions, investigate objects, and explore ideas through great works of art. Emory faculty collaborate with the museum to create custom tours and programs that introduce Emory students to unique, object-based learning experiences. One example is the Carlos Museum’s partnership with Emory’s School of Medicine to develop elective courses and in-gallery programs to help nurture well-rounded, compassionate, and patient-focused physicians.
