Nashville Alumni Network

The Emory Nashville Alumni Network is proud to support the EAAs Mission to connect alumni to their alma mater and to each other, build traditions, foster student and alumni leadership, serve the diverse needs and interests of our community, and create opportunities for investment in Emory's future.

Our Network has chosen the Student Hardship Fund as our signature area of support for Emory. It is fund that has directly impacted current members of our network and continues to impact current students - future members of our alumni community.

The Student Hardship Fund (SHF) was formed in 2011 to support Emory students facing unexpected financial hardship. The fund aids both undergraduates and graduates at Emory University across all nine schools on the Atlanta and Oxford campuses. By providing financial assistance to support students during catastrophic events, such as a death in the family, unexpected job loss, uninsured medical expenses, and eviction, the Student Hardship Fund allows Emory students to continue their education despite the obstacles they are facing. We hope to offer support to students who often do not have any other avenue to turn to because we know the power of community and the importance of lending a helping hand.

The Impact of Your Gift

A gift to the Student Hardship Fund lets Emory students know that we have their backs and offers timely financial help that can lead to peace of mind and academic success.

This fund is entirely supported by charitable donations like yours, and any amount helps meet a student’s time-sensitive need. With your support, the committee that administers the fund can act quickly to fulfill even more student requests. Your support will meet an Emory student’s need during a crisis and help them stay on track to graduate.
