Emory Day of Giving coming soon, March 22-23, 2023!
Department of Political Science

The missions of the Department of Political Science are to teach Emory undergraduates, train graduate students, conduct research, and provide service to Emory College, Emory University, the field of political science, and the local, national, and global community. The department maintains high standards for its research, undergraduate, and graduate missions. The department’s graduate program is currently ranked among the top 20 graduate programs according to several national rankings of PhD programs.

A gift helps support both undergraduate and graduate research in areas like field work, conference travel, experimental subject recruitment, and many other research endeavors by our students.

The Impact of Your Gift

Political Science wants to provide an undergraduate education in political science unsurpassed by any department in the country, especially departments and universities of roughly our size. We provide service to leaders in the college, in the university, and in the profession. A gift helps us make constructive contributions to public dialogue on politics, and to public policy formulation, analysis, and evaluation.
