Oxford College Global Learning

Oxford College Global Learning provides first and second year students the opportunity to see their course content come alive all around the globe by integrating innovative courses and life-changing travel components led by our world class faculty. Global Learning is an essential component of Experiential Learning at Oxford.

Oxford's Global Learning program is committed to expanding access to global education for all our students. We are leading the field in diversity and inclusion, breaking barriers to global experiences for lower-income, underrepresented students. Your support helps us subsidize travel costs and provide a rich array of scholarships. You also help us ensure that all travelers are equally prepared to launch through our enhanced support services and outreach. Student need and the expense of travel are higher than ever since the pandemic began: thank you for your support!

For some added inspiration, check out these testimonials from two first-generation, low-income, minority students who shared that they would not have been able to participate in a Global Learning opportunity without the additional support of Global Learning scholarships, pre-departure programming, and on-the-ground attention.

They write:

"Listening and learning from people who live day to day through what you might read in a textbook is unparalleled. This trip fomented countless points of reflection and criticism regarding our current conditions in the United States and globally."

"I had a wonderful time studying Memorial Culture [with] amazing peers and teachers! ...I do not believe that I would have had such an enriched experience had my mind been clouded with the stress of the financial repercussions of the trip. Thank you so much for the [scholarship]! In similar ways, I hope to give back to Oxford College in the future!"
