Emory's Black Law Student Association is an organization dedicated to the advancement of black students on their journey to becoming lawyers. The organization helps bring minority perspectives to the forefront of legal education and offers support to black students at Emory School of Law.
Black students face a lot of hurdles on their path to becoming lawyers. Once making it to law school, those obstacles still exist and even more financial obstacles arise. While necessary, textbooks, Bar exams, Bar prep programs, and MPRE exams, all come as unexpected costs to law students. We are raising funds to help black law students face unexpected financial obstacles and become lawyers!
