Emory Day of Giving coming soon, March 22-23, 2023!
Save the Children

Save the Children is a larger global organization that works every day to fulfill its mission statement of giving children healthy starts in life, the opportunity to learn, and protection from harm. Emory STC will focus mainly on effective advocacy for children in the Atlanta community and on the fight for educational and health equity for children globally. The purpose of this organization is to create opportunities for Emory students who are passionate about global health and equity, specifically health and educational equity for children and their mothers, to make a noticeable difference in the Atlanta community. Through effective volunteer events, fundraising efforts, and consistent awareness efforts, we will actively pursue the fight for higher quality early learning and quality healthcare for vulnerable children everywhere.

Part of the funds raised for Emory STC will go directly to the global organization's relief efforts. Whenever there is a world crisis, STC healthcare volunteers are one of the very first people to respond. With these funds, we will directly help fund these missions and secure basic needs for children and mothers globally. The other parts of the funds raised will be used towards the volunteer efforts that our club established within the Atlanta community. This includes offering free tutoring and mentoring services to kids in public schools and holding additional fundraisers to help students purchase school supplies.
