COMPLETED! - Emory Day of Giving 2022

Emory Day of Giving 2022 kicks off March 30 at 6 a.m. and continues for 36 hours, ending March 31 at 6 p.m.

We rounded up this year to honor 2O36, our campaign to inspire each other to invest in Emory's mission to serve humanity through knowledge.

#EmoryDayofGiving is always the most Wonderful Wednesday of the year—a day when you can join thousands of alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents and friends to support everything exceptional at Emory.

And Emory is exceptional! A few examples from 2021:

  • In March, a team of Emory scientists led by George Painter developed the first pill used as a COVID antiviral drug, molnupiravir, in the world.
  • Alum Andrew Wilson 17C took home a gold medal from Tokyo for the men's 4X100 medley relay.
  • Emory's schools and hospitals once again broke top-50, top-20, and top-10 rankings in US News and World Report.

2O36 inspires investment in people for the benefit of people.

During the 36 hours of Emory Day (and a Half) of Giving,* you can help fund the dreams, achievements, and determination of Emory people while elevating the reputation of Emory as a top-tier institution. Start spreading the word now by using our digital toolkit.

*And any time, really

You Deserve to Celebrate!
Apr 01, 2022

As of 6:00 p.m. yesterday, we raised over $1.3M from nearly 4,000 donors. These results are incredible. Emory Day of Giving 2022 was 36 hours of record-breaking fundraising, and it was only possible because of you.

Take pride in knowing that you were part of Emory University’s greatest collective fundraising event. Over the past two days, more alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, and friends participated in supporting Emory than ever before.

While we’re all winners, we’d be remiss if we didn’t take a moment to celebrate a few major accomplishments. A special shoutout goes to Emory College of Arts and Sciences for capturing the prize for the school with the most donors. Campus Life took the top spot for most donors to a program. And Oxford College claimed the honor of being the school to bring in the most dollars.

Take a look back at the Emory Day of Giving site to see the results of all our leaderboards and challenges.

While we’re still counting every dollar and donor coming through, we know we have you to thank for the success of Emory Day of Giving 2022.

Thank you!
