Candler School of Theology

When you give to Candler School of Theology, you are supporting the next generation of Christian leaders called to transform the world!

Whatever their path—from church ministry to nonprofit service and advocacy—Candler graduates are responding to God’s call and applying their talents in countless ways. Your gift helps make their ministry possible.

Through your support Candler students can experience an education that will shape their lives and bring renewed vitality to churches and a healing presence to the communities they serve.

On Emory Day of Giving, please make your gift to one or more Candler funds allowing students called to put God’s love into action to flourish.

Theology School Fund for Excellence: Support Candler’s whole mission to educate faithful and creative leaders for the church’s ministries throughout the world.

Candler Master of Divinity Scholarship Fund: Help provide generous scholarship support to students, so Candler graduates can follow God’s call wherever it leads, without the worry of paying off school loans.

Erskine-Smith-Moseley Scholarship Endowment: Give to provide students of Candler’s Black Church Studies Program with valuable scholarships and stipends to support their theological education.

Youth Theological Initiative (YTI) Program: Support programs that equip high school students with theological tools that empower them to change the world.

Student Emergency Fund: Help assist students experiencing financial hardship, such as housing and food insecurity.

Pitts Theology Library Gift Fund: Help Pitts Theology Library grow its world-renowned rare book and circulating collections and maximize the impact these materials have on students and scholars at Emory and around the world.
