Emory Libraries

Emory Libraries serve as the university’s intellectual center, transforming teaching, learning, and research. Our print and digital collections serve as the heartbeat of the university and fuel the academic enterprise. Your generous support enables us to achieve our mission and provide the resources to advance faculty and student success.

We are fundraising for the general collections of the Robert W. Woodruff Library through the University Libraries Fund for Excellence and for the Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives and Rare Book Library (MARBL) through the Linda Matthews Fund for Special Collections. Donors can also specifically support our African American Collections Fund, MARBL - LGBT Program Fund and the Traveling Exhibitions Program. Your gift to Emory Libraries Traveling Exhibits Program- LITS: Living Archives supports bringing exhibitions and collections to elementary and middle schools in the Metro-Atlanta area.

By supporting Emory Libraries, you help us move forward on our main priorities for the campus community: expanding and preserving our collections, contextualizing those works through insightful programming, ensuring our facilities remain state of the art, addressing instruction and research needs, and offering innovative technology and tools. Your gift helps support collection development and the preservation of these important works in all formats. You also bolster our commitment to share these collections with the broader Emory community through special exhibitions and public programs.

Emory Libraries Gift Challenge

Help Emory Libraries set a new Emory Day of Giving record! Beginning at 6:00 a.m. EDT on March 30, the first 40 gifts to Emory Libraries will unlock $5,000 for the Rose Library. If Emory Libraries surpasses 67 gifts this year (10 gifts more than Emory Day of Giving 2021), then another $5,000 will be unlocked for the Rose Library. These challenges were generously contributed by Professor Ron and Keith Schuchard and Ginger Smith 77C 82G.
