As Georgia's first and only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center, Winship Cancer Institute is a national leader in seeking out new ways to defeat cancer and in translating that knowledge into patient care. With more than 250 active clinical trials, Winship researchers are dedicated to taking new cancer treatments from bench to bedside.
In one of our long-standing traditions, patients look forward to ringing a special bell in Winship’s infusion and radiation oncology centers when they finish their treatment. We all know someone touched by cancer, and your support helps Winship create comprehensive programs that will impact tens of thousands of families by allowing their loved ones to ring the bell.
For Emory Day of Giving, we are highlighting these giving opportunities:
Winship Director's Fund–Support the greatest need. The Winship Director's Fund provides unrestricted support, allowing Winship's executive director to allocate financial support to areas of greatest need.
Winship Discovery Fund–Support research. Funding new ideas and top scientific priorities, the Winship Discovery Fund provides support to the areas of highest potential and of most immediate need in the fight against cancer.
Winship Way Fund–Support patient care. The Winship Way fund enables critical strategic investments for 21st century cancer care, enabling every patient to have an exceptional care experience and helping achieve the best outcomes for each patient.
Winship at Midtown Capital Fund–The Winship at Emory Midtown Fund provides support for a new building that transforms patient care, as it is designed around the patient to deliver a clinical care experience as personalized as the treatments patients receive.
