For more than a century, Candler School of Theology has been preparing people to make a real difference in the world. Whatever their path—from ministry to education, law, healthcare, and the arts—our graduates are living out the call of God on their lives and applying their talents in countless ways. Your annual gifts help make this possible.
Financial sacrifice is not uncommon in a life of service, which is why Candler is committed to providing every possible support to students while they are here. The burden of excessive education debt can greatly hinder students as they begin their post-graduation journeys, but with the help of alumni, parents, and friends, we can free Candler graduates to pursue God’s call wherever it leads them.

Theology School Fund for Excellence Match
The dean currently uses all annual gifts made to the Theology School Fund for Excellence to help support student scholarships. By financially supporting Candler students while they are at Emory, we ease their transition into ministry. Beginning at 12 p.m. EST on Wednesday, February 7, donations to the Theology School Fund for Excellence will be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000.
