School of Nursing

Your gifts empower the School of Nursing to continue developing nurse leaders and scholars who are well equipped to shape patient care, research, policy, and education. Because of your support, the School of Nursing is able to create innovate programs to help solve major healthcare issues, like the critical nursing shortage projection and students are able to meet their personal and professional goals because they are provided with the highest-quality learning experience through world-class faculty, the latest technological advances, and a variety of clinical and service learning experiences.

Emory Nursing continues to lead the way in nursing education, research, and innovative healthcare practices. This growth and progress is possible thanks to you and gifts from our alumni and community supporters. This past year has taught us many things—but this truth has become even more evident: nurses are there when we need them most. Whether they are helping keep us well, healing us from illness or injury, or welcoming a new family member into the world, their care, comfort, and support truly makes a difference in our lives every day.

Your gift to the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing will help ensure a vibrant, highly skilled nursing workforce for years to come.

For Emory Day of Giving, we are highlighting these giving opportunities:

  • Emory Nursing Learning Center—Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing is expanding its footprint to create the Emory Nursing Learning Center, which will include a state-of-the-art simulation and skills lab and the Emory Nursing Experience program.
  • Nursing Scholarships—Your gifts open the world to students by funding scholarships, support for working nurses pursuing advanced degrees, and students interested in data science.
