School of Medicine

Emory School of Medicine offers students an unparalleled educational and clinical experience. From their first lecture, students receive valuable opportunities to learn from a wide range of world-class physician-scientists and health professionals. Your support allows Emory students to work with practicing physicians serving a variety of patient populations. Trained in clinical exam methods and cutting-edge science, students are also taught to understand the socio-cultural complexities and influences that affect the health of individuals.

Your gift helps set Emory apart by supporting a curriculum that provides medical students with a small-group learning environment. Students are paired with a faculty leader and remain in this small group throughout their medical education, allowing them to develop the peer-to-peer communication and problem-solving skills that will prove instrumental in building a successful professional career. With your ongoing support, Emory’s medical school can continue to evolve as a leader in training the very best physicians and healthcare professionals.

For Emory Day of Giving, we are highlighting these giving opportunities:

Gifts to the Fund for Emory Medicine can be used immediately in the areas of most need. It allows unrestricted used to support the mission and needs of Emory School of Medicine. As things change so quickly during this pandemic, it is of the utmost importance to be able to quickly pivot and relocate funds as we adapt.

Gifts to the School of Medicine Alumni Scholarship Fund are used for student scholarship support.
