Emory Eye Center provides quality patient care, educates and trains eye professionals, and conducts pioneering research into eye diseases. A recognized leader in patient care, education, and research, Emory Eye Center is consistently named as one of the nation's best.

With your support, we can help advance the commitment to excellence in patient care, research, and teaching, as well as our emerging global outreach program. 

Gifts to the Emory Eye Center enable us to continue our work with blinding diseases in children, inherited eye disorders, eye conditions due to aging, and much more.

The Emory Eye Center Ophthalmology Residency Program is one of the top-residency education programs in the country. Physicians worldwide seek residency training from the Emory Eye Center’s internationally renowned clinical and basic science faculty. The Emory Eye Center offers an ideal environment for physician education, professional development, and continuous learning. Emory Eye Center’s competitive residency programs provide cutting-edge training for physicians in all eye health areas and make significant contributions to basic science and clinical research. Ranked as one of the “Best Residency Programs” by Ophthalmology Times, the Emory Eye Center’s three-year residency program trains six new physicians each year. The graduating residents are highly sought after by the top ophthalmology and academic medical centers in the nation.

We ask you to join us by donating to the EEC residency education program. Your gift will be used to support and train competent clinical and surgical ophthalmologists for many years to come.

Toast Away Wonderful Wednesday
In 1982, Emory set the world record for the largest non-alcoholic toast. Together we toasted and raised support for schools, units, and causes at Emory. Thanks to anonymous donors 74C and 97C, the top five participating groups with the most gifts raised from 4:00–6:00 p.m. EDT on March 24 earned additional funding. Challenge dollars were awarded to the following funds: Oxford College–Judge Horace J. Johnson, Jr. Scholarship Endowment ($600), Athletics–Swimming and Diving ($500), Sustainability Initiatives Fund ($400), Emory College Scholarships ($300), and Theology School Fund for Excellence ($200).
